Dear Mr Gates,

I am writing to congratulate you and of course your monopoly, Microsoft, in having produced the most useful software I have ever used to date.

I refer of course to the successfully hyped Windows XP.
For many years I have sat at my desk, coffee in hand, struggling hard to find the solution to my needs. Then, enter Windows XP...my problems had come to an end.
I could now put down my coffee and continue to run my Linux system without 'cup ringing' my valuable mahogany desk.
I therefore just had to write and say 'many thanks' for your innovative Windows XP CD coaster. I eagerly await delivery of the CD 'Service Pack 1' to wedge under my chair leg to cure that annoying uneven floor problem.

Forgive me for communicating with you in this rather primitive 'snail mail' mode. I would normally have emailed you, but my isp's NT server is down again. However, included with this letter is a BoredShitless window sticker, which I an sure will beautifully adorn any one of your fleet of automobiles.

Good luck for the future,

Mr Simon Taylor.
